SplitEats plans high-protein meals around your training. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account: an ID and, if you share it, the email from Sign in with Apple or Google.
- Plan inputs: your goal, body weight, daily protein, diet, lift days, appetite setting and unit preference.
- Your plans: the weekly meal plans, swaps and grocery ticks you create.
- Subscription status: whether you have an active plan, from Apple via RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.
- Usage and crashes: which screens and features are used, and crash reports, to fix problems and improve the app.
How we use it
To build and save your meal plans, keep them in sync across your iPhones, run the subscription, and improve SplitEats. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
AI features
When you ask for a swap in your own words or describe what is in your fridge, that text and a list of the relevant recipe or ingredient names are sent to an AI model (Groq) to pick matching options. New recipes are written by an AI model (Anthropic Claude via OpenRouter). Your account details are not included.
Service providers
Supabase (database and sign-in), Cloudflare (our server), RevenueCat and Apple (subscriptions), Groq and OpenRouter (AI), PostHog (usage analytics) and Sentry (crash reports). They process data only to provide their service to us.
Health information
Body weight and nutrition targets are used only to size your plan. SplitEats is a meal planner, not medical advice.
Deleting your data
In the app, go to Plan โ Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, profile, plans and grocery lists. Cancel any subscription separately in your iPhone's Settings โ Apple ID โ Subscriptions.
Children
SplitEats is not intended for children under 13.
